Review of financial performance and fraud risks at European oil and gas company

Our team conducted a comprehensive review of the European oil and gas company and its subsidiaries following the company’s concerns on financial performance. The work included financial performance review (i.e. analysis of cash flow, costs, sales, procurements), forensic analysis and conflict and independence checks to address potential fraud allegations. The results of work included fact-finding report and specific recommendations how to improve commercial performance of the company. Additionally, it revealed undeclared connections between counterparties, regional subsidiary management, and politically exposed persons.
