Our experts were appointed by the defendant—a mining company in a CIS country—in international arbitration proceedings. The arbitration, conducted under ICAC rules, involved a construction contractor’s claim exceeding $30M related to the development of a mining facility in a potash deposit. Throughout the proceedings, our experts worked closely with a technical expert to provide a clear, well-substantiated expert report and testimony. As part of the counterclaim, we also assessed lost profits and alternative damages incurred by the defendant.
